Speakers keep falling out...? Only one side is working...? 90% of our customers call because of this situation. Easy fix, push them in all the way. That's it! Push and twist with force, don't worry it won't break. It has to be embedded, the reason for this is so that no moisture damage enters the unit.
STATIC & BEEPING:
You have a short in your power cord. ( 5 inch cord coming out of your communicator ) You can easily replace it without having to send it in to us. It's held in by a tiny phillips screw.
No worries, the communicator still works but, your range will be shortened. You can also purchase an antenna and replace it at home yourself.
WIND & ENGINE NOISE:
Your VOX is not set properly. Did you know that when you ride your actually yelling... which means that setting your VOX in your living room is not the correct way to adjust the sensitivity on your mic. You have to adjust it while on your bike or sled with wind blowing. Once this is set properly you'll never have to adjust it again. Use your windsocks!!
If your unit is not pairing with your code "0000" (newer models) try using "8888"(older models)
1~Beep (Channel #1, which has the G.W.B Groomer Warning Beacon)
2~Beeps (Channel #2, which is either a common channel we give out #100, or the channel you specifically asked us to program for you.
3~Beeps (Channel #3, just another optional channel)
4~Beeps (this is for private Rider/Passenger communication.)
MIC NOT ACTIVATING:
Your VOX may not be sensative enough, keep turning till you hear yourself through your speakers. Did you know that when you ride your actually yelling... which means that setting your VOX in your living room is not the correct way to adjust the sensitivity on your mic. This has to be done while while riding with wind and engine noise. Voice tube tip could be twisted, make sure to line up the mic with the internal hole.
INTERFERANCE & FEEDBACK:
You may be too close to the other unit, you have to be at least 6 ft away from the other units. Try changing channels if that doesn't work, a signal may be coming in. If your in your house testing these, please go outside, it is very likely to get interference from devices inside your home.
CHARGING YOUR BATTERY PAC:
If you haven't used it since last year, it's ok to charge it overnight. If you used it for only 4 hours today than only charge it for 4 hours. Please do not over charge your batteries.
